This award recognises the exceptional achievements of women who have made a significant impact in the accounting and finance profession. The judges will be looking for individuals who have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and excellence in their roles across Practice, Industry, Financial Services and Public Sector, and who have helped to advance opportunities for women in accounting and finance. The winner may be nominated by themselves or by someone within their organisation. Please ensure that you have obtained the nominee’s consent before submitting an entry. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by evidence that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.
- Career Summary: Provide an overview of the nominee’s career to date, including key roles, qualifications, and professional achievements that highlight their progression and impact within the accountancy and finance industry.
- Leadership: The nominee should demonstrate outstanding leadership and influence in their field. This may include leading teams, managing large-scale financial projects, driving strategic business change, or mentoring and empowering colleagues within the finance and accounting community.
- Innovation: The nominee should show evidence of creativity and forward-thinking in their work. This may include developing or implementing innovative financial strategies, introducing technology-driven efficiencies, or creating solutions that have enhanced organisational performance or client value.
- Professionalism: The nominee should consistently demonstrate integrity, ethical behaviour, and a commitment to professional excellence. They should act as a role model within the accounting and finance profession, upholding the highest standards of conduct and governance.
- Impact: The nominee should have made a measurable and meaningful impact within their organisation or the wider industry. This may include contributing to business growth, improving financial management practices, championing diversity and inclusion, or playing a key role in shaping the future of the profession.
- Supporting Testimonials: Please include up to two testimonials from senior professionals or peers who can validate the nominee’s achievements, leadership qualities, and impact on the accounting and finance community.
