Taxback International secured two major honours at the Irish Accountancy Awards 2025, winning both the Client Service Award and Best Use of Technology in Accounting and Finance for its Comply platform, which continues to redefine VAT compliance for accountancy firms worldwide.

In the Client Service Award category, judges recognised how Taxback International’s Comply platform has transformed VAT compliance through automation, real-time reporting, and a strong focus on personalised client support.

The firm’s approach combines AI-driven assistance, a comprehensive self-service knowledge hub, and dedicated onboarding, enabling faster issue resolution and long-term client success. These initiatives have delivered tangible results, including a 98% client retention rate and response times reduced by 40%.

Taxback International was also recognised for Best Use of Technology in Accounting and Finance, with judges commending Comply as a standout example of technology-led innovation in global VAT compliance.

The judges noted that Comply empowers firms to streamline compliance, cut costs, and focus on higher-value advisory services, while its global reach and scalable design set a new benchmark for technology-driven financial compliance.

The dual recognition reflects broader trends within the Irish Accountancy Awards, where winners are increasingly distinguished by their ability to combine advanced technology with exceptional client outcomes.

With momentum building from the 2025 winners, attention now turns to the Irish Accountancy Awards 2026, where entrants are expected to continue raising standards in client service, automation, and financial technology innovation.

Entries are open until 30 January 2026, with finalists announced on 19 March 2026, ahead of the gala on 21 May 2026 at the Royal Dublin Convention Centre.
