Coleraine-based IDS Chartered Accountants has confirmed its continued partnership with the Budget Energy SuperCupNI, marking three decades of involvement with one of the world's leading international youth football tournaments since first partnering with the event in 1996, as reported by SuperCupNI. The firm has provided both professional accountancy services and direct financial support to the tournament throughout that period, making it one of the longest-serving partners in the event's history.

Led by partners Roger Dallas and Alison Wallace, IDS Chartered Accountants is one of the Causeway Coast's longest-established independent accountancy and business advisory firms, providing financial, taxation and business advisory services to businesses, charities and organisations across Northern Ireland. The firm has overseen the tournament's accountancy and financial affairs across all 30 years of the partnership.

Sam Gamble, tournament coordinator at the Budget Energy SuperCupNI, said the 30-year relationship was something the tournament was incredibly proud to celebrate and added: "IDS has been far more than a sponsor. They've looked after the tournament's accountancy and financial affairs for three decades, while continuing to invest financially in the event itself. That combination of professional expertise and commercial support has been invaluable to the tournament."

Roger Dallas, partner at IDS Chartered Accountants, said the firm was incredibly proud to celebrate 30 years of involvement and described the partnership as more than a client or sponsorship arrangement, adding: "It's been a real family affair. Over the years, members of my own family have had the opportunity to play in the tournament, so we've experienced it not only as professional advisers and sponsors, but as parents and supporters too. We're proud to have supported the tournament both professionally and financially since 1996 and it's been a privilege to watch it grow into one of the world's leading international youth football tournaments."

Now entering its 43rd edition, the Budget Energy SuperCupNI will welcome more than 1,200 players representing 64 boys' and girls' teams from across the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Elite academy sides including Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Celtic will compete alongside county representative teams and international opposition across more than 150 fixtures at venues spanning Causeway Coast and Glens, Antrim and Newtownabbey, and Mid and East Antrim.
