Irish partner-led talent advisory and executive search firm Barden has announced four senior appointments, including three new partners drawn from the accountancy and finance sector, underscoring the growing strategic importance of specialist finance talent recruitment in Ireland.

Business Plus reported that the appointments of Fellow Chartered Accountants Ornaith Giblin and Catherine Drysdale, and Associate Chartered Accountant Brian O'Connor bring the number of partners at Barden to 13.

Giblin, formerly of KPMG and Ardagh Group, has been appointed Partner within Barden Leinster to lead Accounting and Finance Senior Qualified Appointments, whilst O'Connor, formerly of Deloitte, was promoted to Partner leading the firm's Accounting and Finance Recently Qualified Appointments practice.

Drysdale, former head of finance and transformation at ESW, was promoted to Partner heading Barden Ireland's Projects, Transformation and Change practice, bringing over 20 years' experience across ERP implementations, payroll optimisation, automation, and data analytics.

Cole Carroll was additionally promoted to Head of Organisation Development within Barden Leinster, with a remit spanning internal development and senior talent appointments across the region.

The appointments follow a year of strong growth for Barden, including the continued expansion of its Executive Search offering. The firm, which employs 44 staff across offices in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, and San Francisco, also recently achieved B Corp certification.
