DJH has acquired Kent-based Loucas, marking its 20th acquisition since 2020 as it continues to scale operations across the UK and Ireland accountancy market.
Business Sale Report indicated that the deal follows DJH’s earlier acquisition of McBrides and forms part of a sustained expansion strategy targeting key regional advisory markets.
The addition of Loucas increases DJH’s workforce to more than 800 employees, with offices now spanning the North West, Yorkshire, the Midlands, the South East and Dublin, strengthening its cross-regional service capabilities.
Founded in 1974, Loucas has grown into a multi-location firm serving owner-managed businesses across the South East, adding established client relationships and local expertise to DJH’s platform.
Scott Heath, chief executive of DJH, said: "When we made our first acquisition in 2025, we made it clear the South East was a region we intended to grow in, and that's exactly what we are doing.”
He added: "The area is emerging as one of the most entrepreneurial counties in the UK and the demand for high-quality business advice and consultancy is continuing to grow. It has the business density, the entrepreneurial energy, and the economic momentum that makes it exactly the kind of market we want to serve.”
He further stated: "Loucas is the type of practice we look for. A 50-year strong track record, an expert team that has built something genuinely special, a firm that clients trust, return to, and recommend.”
Following completion, Loucas’ leadership remains unchanged, with Athos Louca continuing as managing director, ensuring continuity while integrating into DJH’s broader national network.
